Dr. Doyel has specialized training in implant dentistry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is board-certified in implant dentistry as a Diplomate with the American Board of Oral Implantology and Implant Dentistry, now recognized as the only specialty certification of dental implants in Oregon. As a national leader in implant dentistry and 3D CAD/CAM dentistry, Dr. Doyel founded Dental Surgical Camps and lectures on implant surgery throughout the United States.
Dr. Doyel trains doctors in guided implant surgery, sinus lifts, bone augmentation, and grafts, platelet-rich fibrin techniques, gum grafts, laser therapy, and digital dentistry. Dr. Doyel has advanced training in wisdom teeth extractions, IV sedation, full mouth reconstruction, prosthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. He has a wonderful wife, Polly, five adult children, and four grandchildren.
Dr. Doyel is a Diplomate with the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI) and a Fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). These both symbolize the highest level of competence in implant dentistry. He is also a 3D CAD/CAM dentistry leader and enjoys mentoring other dentists and sharing his knowledge with them. In addition to lecturing and facilitating his passion for dental education, he founded Dental Surgical Camps. He hosts several camps for other doctors to attend throughout the year.
Dr. Doyel also has extensive training in sinus lifts, bone augmentation, bone expansion & grafts, guided surgery, periodontics, periodontal therapy, gum grafts, and laser therapy.
He specializes in other areas of general dentistry including endodontics or root canal therapy, full mouth reconstruction as he calls “New Smile in a Day”, and sleep apnea oral appliance therapy. Dr. Doyel also offers three types of sedation dentistry, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV sedation, to make patients feel at ease during their appointments.

Dr. Doyel and his wife, Polly, have 5 children and a growing number of grandchildren whom they try to spend as much time with as possible. They often work together and feel it is a privilege to share their love of dentistry together. You can find him traveling & teaching throughout the nation on several aspects of surgical dentistry including, implants and importance of guided surgery. Dr. Doyel has been active in his church and community throughout the years in various activities such as coaching sports, helping with Boy Scouts of America, serving on YMCA board and with Rotary International and teaching Sunday School at the local prison. He still continues to sing and perform on occasion and use sign language which he learned serving the deaf community in Chicago. Dr. Doyel also enjoys working out, golfing, reading and writing. He is ever researching and learning to be able to offer only the best to his patients and those he serves.
